Here's a short list of things I would like to experience/do before I leave this life.
1. Go skydiving.
I have to be 18 to do this one :(
2. Ski in Switzerland.
3. Witness something majestic.
I'm not sure what but I'll know when I experience it.
4. Start a successful business.
5. Become proficient in a foreign language.
In progress, I have taken 2 years of Spanish.
6. Learn to fly
I'm going to start flying lessons in a few months.
7. Help someone come to Christ.
8. Write a book.
In progress.
9. Become proficient in an instrument.
Completed. I have taken 5 years of guitar lessons and can play just about anything.
10. Help a complete stranger.
11. Set a lap time of 9:45 at the infamous Nürburgring track.
12. Discover how to time travel.
Not practical but if I did this one, it would ensure that I would complete the others. lol
13. Climb mount Doom.
Not so practical.

What is Yesterday?
Yesterday is broken and forgotten.
Yesterday is a failed chance.
Yesterday is lost.
Yesterday is futile.
Yesterday is faded and black.
Yesterday is gone.
Tomorrow is a new day.
Tomorrow is a second chance.
Tomorrow is lucid and brilliant.
Tomorrow is delight.
Tomorrow is a dream.
Tomorrow is near.
Today can be used for mourning about Yesterday or it can be used for rejoicing about Tomorrow.

Election 2012
Well, the time has come. The 2012 Presidential Election is only hours away. Some have dreamed of this day and some have feared this day. Some are rejoicing that the day has come and some are mourning that this day has come.
The frantic cries of the media are amusing. Anchors are salivating over the thought of their candidate coming to victory. Their "balanced and unbiased" coverage of the matter is less than "balanced and unbiased". Whether you prefer CNN, MSNBC, ABC or perhaps Fox, they all have their own agenda and opinion. Some convey their thoughts subliminally and some come right out and tell you in an "in your face" kind of way.
I personally get my news about the election (or any news for that matter) from multiple sources so as to compare and attempt to get the whole story and I suggest you do the same. Some news sources have polls that show candidate "Bob" with 54% of the vote while candidate "Jim" has 46%. Other news sources have polls that show candidate "Bob" with 45% of the vote while candidate "Jim" has 58%. They both claim to poll with a bi-partisan agenda, yet they get significantly different results. How can this be so?
Nevertheless, we will find out tonight who is "bi-partisan" and who is not.
I have made my mind on which candidate I support but will not endorse him here. I don't consider myself a Republican or a Democrat. I just believe in upholding the Constitution and the Christian principles on which our Forefathers founded this great nation. I vote for the person, not the party. This is the premise I base my vote on.
Whichever candidate you support, I wish you the best. I just pray that this great nation does not fall prey to the hands of evil men.
"The only thing necessary for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing."
~ Edmund Burke

Top 10 reasons I keep writing.
10. It's cheap entertainment.
9. I get a thrill reading my own work.
8. I can create characters and make them do what I cannot.
7. The sense of satisfaction.
6. I enjoy it.
5. Its something I can do my entire life.
4. Its better than TV.
3. Even though I would rather be jumping out of an airplane or climbing mount doom in real life, writing/reading about it is the second best thing.
2. I feel like I'm making a difference.
1. Why not?

Funny Poem
The man on a cruise
(Limerick)
There once was a man on a cruise.
He was wearing his
brand new shoes.
He slipped on the deck
He slipped on the deck
And nearly broke his
neck.
Now he has a painful
bruise.
